XIX FIGO World Congress of Gynecology & Obstetrics

FIGO is delighted to announce that the dates of the XIX FIGO World Congress of Gynecology & Obstetrics have now been finalised. The event - the largest gathering of obstetricians and gynecologists from around the world - will take place at the Cape Town International Convention Centre in Cape Town, South Africa from 4th to 9th October 2009.
We aim to build on the immense success of the event that took place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 2006 by offering delegates, their partners, sponsors and exhibitors an unparalleled educational and cultural experience. The FIGO World Congress of Gynecology & Obstetrics is the only event on this scale that brings together specialists in obstetrics and gynecology from all parts of the world. The 2006 event attracted over 6,000 delegates from in excess of 120 countries and territories, and we confidently expect that number to be exceeded in 2009.
A first class scientific program is being developed and we are currently in the process of finalising accommodation and social programs designed to make your visit to South Africa truly memorable and unique.
