The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation - Setting The Agenda At Women Deliver
Friday, 18th June 2010
The Gates Foundation will invest $1.5 billion over the next five years to support maternal and child health, family planning, and nutrition programs in developing countries. This funding will complement its investments in other areas related to women’s and children’s health, such as developing and delivering vaccines, and preventing pneumonia, diarrhoea, malaria, and HIV/AIDS.
FIGO admires the commitment and passion of The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation in its work with maternal and child health: read more about Melinda’s vision and visit the Women Deliver website for further information.
