Women's Dignity Project in Tanzania

Women’s Dignity seeks to enable all Tanzanians - particularly marginalized girls and women – to realize their basic right to health. The organisation focuses in particular on improving maternal health so women no longer fear death in childbirth, or consequences such as obstetric fistula.

Following a research study done by Women's Dignity on best practice in Dodoma Regional Hospital to reduce maternal and infant mortality in the region, the organisation has produced an information brief entitled "Best Practice on Strategies to Reduce Maternal and Infant Mortality by the Year 2015".  A copy of the brief can be found by clicking here.
