FIGO Trustee and Council Elections 2021

Nominations for the Board of Trustees and FIGO Council for the 2021–2023 term are now closed.

Voting will take place at the General Assembly, as part of XXIII FIGO World Congress of Gynecology & Obstetrics.

The meeting will be held virtually via the Zoom platform on Wednesday 27th October and Thursday 28th October 2021 from 12.30 to 16.00 UTC+1 (UK time), in accordance with FIGO’s Articles of Association.

For your Society to be represented at the General Assembly meeting, please ensure you send the names and e-mail addresses of one Voting Delegate, and one Voting Delegate Assistant, who will be present at the meeting to [email protected] no later than 1st September 2021. The Voting Delegate Assistant will only be entitled to vote at the General Assembly meeting if the Voting Delegate cannot attend.

If you are unable to attend the General Assembly meeting on either of the days, your Society can still vote by completing and returning to FIGO an Appointment of Proxy Form, in line with the accompanying guidance. You will have previously received this form via email; however, if you unable to locate it, please contact [email protected]. A Member Society is entitled to appoint a proxy to exercise any, or all, of its rights to attend, speak and vote at the General Assembly meeting.

If your Society is in arrears with fees owing to FIGO, please ensure these are cleared at the earliest opportunity. Only those Member Societies that are up -to -date with their fees are entitled to vote. Member Society votes shall be cast by a Voting Delegate (or, if applicable, Voting Delegate Assistant) or by proxy.
