FIGO launches new FIGO Knowledge Hub: On-demand webinars and courses now available

The FIGO Knowledge Hub is an innovative new online education platform, created to advance FIGO’s strategic pillars of education and capacity building. This dynamic resource is designed to support the ongoing professional growth of those in obstetrics and gynaecology, with plans to evolve continually to meet the needs of our global community. 

We are delighted to officially introduce on-demand FIGO Webinars, now accessible as concise, user-friendly courses on the Knowledge Hub. Each on-demand webinar includes a brief quiz assessment, providing learners with the opportunity to earn a certificate of completion. These certificates may contribute to continuing professional development (CPD) requirements at the national level, helping you stay current while advancing your expertise. 

Since Autumn 2024, FIGO has delivered several impactful webinars, now available on-demand: 

  • Committee on Women’s Cancer: In collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO), FIGO launched a series focusing on the global effort to eliminate cervical cancer. 
  • Asia Oceania regional webinar: Led by FIGO Trustee Prof Hrishikesh Pai and key partners, this webinar highlighted advances in reproductive medicine. 
  • Committee on Menstrual Disorders: A thought-provoking session explored the impact of iron deficiency across the life course. 
  • Global collaboration for post-partum haemorrhage: Leaders from FIGO, the International Confederation of Midwives (ICM), and WHO discussed the importance of partnerships in reducing post-partum haemorrhage worldwide. 
  • Contraception care for unique patient groups: Delivered by the FIGO Committee on  Contraception, this webinar offered essential insights into  contraceptive care.
