FIGO has unveiled a new digital tool designed to simplify and streamline cancer staging for women’s cancers. Developed by the FIGO Committee on Women’s Cancer, the web-based tool provides clinicians with instant access to the latest staging criteria in a user-friendly format.

The resource includes simplified staging processes for endometrial and vulvar cancers, aligning with the most recent revisions: the FIGO staging for carcinoma of the vulva (2021) and the FIGO staging of endometrial cancer (2023). Two new interactive assessment forms are available for one-time use, free of charge and without data storage, ensuring accessibility and equity for healthcare professionals worldwide.

By transforming complex staging charts into a coded, practical system, the tool bridges research and clinical application, ultimately supporting better patient outcomes. It also contributes to capacity-building by equipping clinicians with a reliable, accessible resource that enhances decision-making in cancer care.

This digital tool represents a significant step forward in supporting clinicians worldwide. By making the latest staging systems accessible in such a practical and user-friendly way, FIGO is not only advancing evidence-based practice but also helping to ensure that women everywhere receive the highest standard of care.

- Professor Emeritus Sarikapan Wilailak, Chair, FIGO Committee on Women’s Cancer

This initiative underscores FIGO’s commitment to empowering healthcare professionals with evidence-based, globally accessible resources, strengthening standards of care for women everywhere.
