survey title description

The Committee on Women Facing Crisis has developed a survey to understand the scope and impact of violence against health care professionals worldwide.

This important initiative aims to raise awareness and advocate for change.

The survey is available in English, French and Spanish and we encourage doctors, nurses, midwives and other health workers globally to complete it and share it widely. The results will be used to assess the scale of the problem and inform guidelines to create safer working conditions for health personnel.

“ Violence against healthcare providers is an unacceptable act. It undermines the fundamental principles of compassion, care, and respect that are integral to the healthcare profession. Acts of violence not only jeopardize the safety and mental well-being of healthcare professionals but also compromise the overall quality of patient care. We must work together to create safer working spaces for healthcare providers and to foster a culture of respect, communication, and understanding within healthcare setting”

- Prof Rubina Sohail, Past Chair of the Committee on Women Facing Crises: Human Rights, Refugees and Violence Against Women

By participating, you can help provide data to influence policies that will protect healthcare workers. Please take a few minutes to complete the survey and make your voice heard. Together, we can shine a light on threats facing health workers and call for action to end violence in the health sector.
