The FIGO Committee on Women at Menopausal Age invites healthcare providers to complete a new FIGO survey to guide educational initiatives and improve the standard of care for menopausal women.

The survey takes 10-15 minutes to complete and it is designed to collect insight from gynaecologists and other health professionals on their:

  • Knowledge about menopause physiology, symptomatology and evidence-based treatment options (e.g., menopausal hormone therapy, non-hormonal alternatives).
  • Attitudes toward the importance of menopause care, perceived barriers and comfort level in managing menopause-related health issues.
  • Practices related to screening, counseling and treatment approaches in their daily clinical work with menopausal patients.

The survey also aims to identify areas of professional development and training needs that could enhance the effectiveness of menopause-related healthcare delivery.

Participation is voluntary and anonymous. The data collected from this survey will be used for research purposes only.

The survey is now available in English, French and Spanish and will remain open until 31 October 2025.
