New IJGO Deputy Editors-in-Chief appointed
We are delighted to announce the appointment of Prof Suvarna Khadilkar and Prof Edgar Mocanu as new Editors-in-Chief for the International Journal of Gynecology and Obstetrics (IJGO). They will join Prof Elizabeth Stringer in supporting the Editor-in-Chief, Michael Geary.
Prof Suvarna Khadilkar has recently completed her tenure as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology of India. She is currently Deputy Secretary General of the Federation of Obstetric and Gynecological Societies of India (FOGSI), President of the Mumbai Obstetric & Gynecological Society and Chair of the FIGO Committee on Menopause.

Prof Edgar Mocanu is an academic and certified Obstetrician and Gynaecologist practising in Ireland, and an RCOG-certified Sub-Specialist in Reproductive Medicine and Surgery. He has served on the Editorial Boards of Human Fertility and the British Fertility Society Journal.

Their responsibilities as Deputy Editors-in-Chief include evaluating submissions to the journal, selecting the most appropriate papers for peer review and working with the Associate Editors to ensure publication of high-quality content. They will also provide input into the strategic development of the journal, including inviting topical submissions, implementing best practice and acting as global ambassadors for IJGO.
