FIGO urges our members to become advocates for maternal health to reduce death and disability from postpartum haemorrhage (PPH) and meet the SDG target.

In the past two decades, the world has seen a rapid decline in maternal and child deaths. However, challenges remain in reaching the most vulnerable women and children.

New FIGO President Dr Carlos Fuchtner highlights need to obtain gender equity at all levels of FIGO. 

An update from the widely used 2012 chart detailing recommended dosages of misoprostol when used by itself for a variety of gynecological and obstetrical indications has been revised and expanded by an expert group and is now available online:
