FIGO Programmes
FIGO Programmes lead a range projects in low- and middle-income countries to reduce global disparities in healthcare and equip healthcare professionals to become agents for change.
We partner with our member associations and allied health workers to achieve sustainable progress and long-lasting impact through healthcare system level change, workforce education, policy adaptation and adoption of clinical best practice.
Structured through three portfolios of work –maternal and newborn health, neglected women’s health conditions and sexual and reproductive health and wellbeing– FIGO Programmes brings together clinical knowledge, technical expertise and value networks to effect change at national, subregional and international levels.
FIGO Programmes plays a unique role in the development landscape, with a proven track record in leading large multi-country projects and supporting our members through capacity strengthening and south-to-south expertise sharing.
