Call for papers: A Call for Action in Indigenous and First Nations Women's Health and Wellbeing

To coincide with the FIGO (International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics) XXIII World Congress in October 2021, the International Journal of Gynecology and Obstetrics (IJGO)  -  the official journal of FIGO - will be bringing out a special issue on women’s health and indigenous populations of the world. The issue will have a particular focus on reproductive health, and aims to have a broad remit, with original research and reviews aimed at highlighting knowledge gaps, actions that improve systems, and culturally appropriate care. We will also consider shorter commentary pieces, including brief communications, case reports, and editorials.

Research that is led by or in partnership with Indigenous or First Nations people would be welcome.

The deadline for submissions is April 26, 2021 and submissions can be made at https://www.editorialmanager.com/ijg/default.aspx. Please state in your cover letter that your submission is to be considered for the October 2021 special issue.

All submissions must adhere to the IJGO author guidelines, which are available here: https://obgyn.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/hub/journal/18793479/about/author-guidelines

Any papers accepted for publication will be published online as Early View articles (this is the version of record, which has a DOI and is fully citable) as soon as they have been edited, typeset and proofread, ahead of inclusion in the October 2021 special section.
