Biography

Born in Córdoba, (Argentina) on October 24, 1952, marital status married, with Mrs. María Estela Joffré. Three children: Pablo, Diego and Noelia. 

He completed his medical studies at the Faculty of Medical Sciences of the National University of Córdoba, Argentina, graduating in March 1976.

In this period under his presidency, the links with the 19 National Federated Societies in FLASOG were strongly consolidated; likewise strengthening the inter-institutional relationship with FIGO, actively participating in the organization and support of the Regional Congress of FIGO Cartagena, in the year 2022 in which a face-to-face meeting was held between the FIGO authorities and the presidents of all the National Societies of Gyn/Obst from Latin America. 

Likewise, during this time, two important projects of continental scope have been developed, promoted jointly between FIGO and FLASOG: 

“Clarification of Values in Sexual and Reproductive Rights in Latin America and the Caribbean, with emphasis on vulnerable countries”. 

“Obstetric Emergencies”. 

With active participation of the Federated Societies and the support of NGOs.
