New USAID award to expand access to reproductive health services in low-resourced settings

We are delighted to celebrate that the EngenderHealth-led consortium FIGO is part of has been awarded a $89 million USAID grant to promote access to family planning and reproductive healthcare in selected low and middle-income countries. 

This new funding will enable us to work together with local and global partners to create sustainable, locally led, gender-equitable solutions that will enhance peoples’ abilities to make informed reproductive choices and improve access to essential healthcare services.  

At FIGO we know that the fastest path to lasting improvements in women’s health come when we collaborate. We are delighted to add our partnership with EngenderHealth and their diverse and expert coalition for the ACCESS cooperative agreement to our growing programmes portfolio. Together with all our partners we are passionate about continuing to  tackle disparities in healthcare, and supporting women and girls to exercise their rights to make informed decisions about their health.
