International Women's Day 2022: Break the Bias
International Women's Day is marked on 8 March to celebrate the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity.
The campaign theme for International Women's Day 2022 is #BreakTheBias. FIGO, as the global voice for women's health, is dedicated to breaking down the barriers and discrimination that women around the world face in fulfilling their right to health.
As part of its key commitments for the next decade, FIGO is dedicated to the fulfilment of sexual and reproductive health and rights by supporting the provision of accessible, affordable, sustainable and comprehensive health services.
Discover the articles written in collaboration with FIGO Committees for International Women's Day, highlighting the importance of raising awareness of gynaecological conditions to fight stigma, the need for improved diagnoses in women's health, and the relevance of OBGYNs' role in combatting gender discrimination.
